Community Navigator

Settlement support for new arrivals, and Family Hub support for BAME families in Rotherham.

What This Service Provides

The Community Navigator offers settlement support to BME communities living in the Rotherham area, helping with access to health services, education, benefits, housing, translation and interpretation, and other community organisations and activities.

REMA also provides a Family Hub Community Navigator for BAME families, linking parents and children with Rotherham's Family Hubs and services including immigration advice, settlement support, English classes and food bank access. This includes our REMA Future Starts baby and toddler group, and family learning sessions run with local partners.
